Overview
High Green Barn was a challenging conversion from a small disused and dilapidated building into a cosy, modern holiday let with original features.

This was another ‘turnkey’ project where we managed all stages of the development including:
- Building control
- Structural engineer and design
- Electrical work
- Plumbing
- Kitchen fitting and second fix joinery
- Tiling
- Decorating
This meant that the client could simply ‘turn the key’ and start using and enjoying the property.
The site was surrounded by neighbouring properties with no allocated parking.
Good relations were kept with all the neighbours throughout the project who commented on what a fantastic job was done, leading to requests of work on their own properties.
The clients did not live local to the area, so good communication and project management was essential.
We were involved in all aspects of the project including coordinating with Northern Power, Yorkshire Water and a local internet provider, as the property had no services.
We also coordinated with the Yorkshire Dales National Park and ecologists, as a bat licence and nesting box were required.
